Arabic Online courses are designed for self-study. However, the disadvantage of studying alone is ‘lonely learning’, and you need a lot of self-discipline and self-motivation to arrange a programme of study. We frequently receive emails from people asking how Arabic Online can help as they have given up or find it difficult to work alone.

Joining a Cohort

By joining the Arabic Online Community, users have the opportunity to learn together with others in a cohort or group. The advantages are that you can:

  • work with your fellow cohort members and your tutor to define your goals and structure your programme.
  • agree on the learning content, then plan your schedule, agree dates and times for group meetings or collaboration with a partner.
  • decide what to study alone and what activities to do with a partner or the group.

During the course of the cohort programme there will be opportunities to be assessed by a tutor.

At Arabiconline.eu we are currently trialling cohort programmes for beginners and advanced learners. If you have subscribed to one of our courses and you would like to volunteer to test these programmes and provide feedback, please contact us at:

We are currently offering this access free of charge, so there will be no additional costs.

Please note that you must already have a subscription to join this trial. If you take a new subscription now, you can still contact us to take part.
